Subject: Nice sound
This show is one I have always loved and had wished for years to find in audience recording again. Finally it is here. I had a copy of this and the Reno show for years on cassette. We use to play the heck out of it back then on tour. I remember listening to this one driving west for the Cal Expo shows in 1984 we had a rental van made into a driving condo with the door behind the driver opened whole way. 2 in front driving 2 in back either sleeping or smoking fatty's With this show cranked up.
The rhythm Devils portion of this show we called tribal and now I can see why. It has that beat to it loved it then love it now.
Jumpin around on the show but why not, this Not Fade away is heavy on the Phil side. Coming out of space is way I preferred Not Fade . On other recording of the sound board someone says Sugaree is bouncy. Agree it is almost JGB style. Listen to the next 1 they do at Duke and you will hear the difference . So very nice to have this one again big thanks.
